I believe it's important to empathize with the people I work with. This way, I can tailor the treatment or training to the performance levels someone can achieve whilst motivating them to reach a higher level. With each patient, I enjoy the challenge we embark on together when creating a personalized rehabilitation journey. Building someone's physical strength and seeing the results of their hard work is rewarding to witness and gives me great satisfaction—whether it's within a rehabilitation program or during a performance training session. The best results in treatment or training are achieved together.

Your text is already in great shape! Here's a slightly refined version for better flow and clarity:
"I have a deep passion for sports and the challenges they present. Having dealt with injuries myself, I understand how frustrating it can be to not perform at your best due to pain or limitations.
Through my physiotherapy studies, I’ve gained a deeper understanding of how injuries happen and how to manage them effectively. One key lesson I’ve learned is the importance of staying active during an injury—done responsibly, this helps facilitate the recovery process and enables you to return to your sport at the level you desire.
In my sessions, I focus primarily on ensuring the correct execution of exercises, while also creating an enthusiastic and enjoyable atmosphere!"
Let me know if you'd like further adjustments!

As a physiotherapist with a strong passion for sports and movement, I have specialized in sports rehabilitation, with a particular focus on treating concussions. I guide clients through sports injuries, (persistent) symptoms following a concussion, and support them in safely returning to sports and daily activities.
Every complaint and recovery process is different. That’s why it’s essential to tailor treatments to the individual and work together on a plan that aligns with someone’s capabilities, so realistic goals can be achieved. Step by step, we work towards recovery, optimal functional capacity, and the ability to move freely again.
In my free time, I am very active in sports. Whether it’s on the football field, on a road bike, or in the gym where I train for HYROX (fitness racing) and CrossFit (all-round fitness).
My own sports experience helps me truly understand what training, physical and mental resilience, and recovering or returning after an injury require.
What I value most about my work is guiding people from injury to (optimal achievable) recovery.
Working together towards a clear goal—whether that’s moving pain-free, returning to sport, or regaining confidence in one’s body—gives me great satisfaction in my profession.

As a physiotherapist, I find it important to help people get the best out of themselves, both in daily life and in sports. I am very active myself, and sport is an important part of my life. Because I have experienced injuries myself, I know how frustrating it can be to feel limited in your ability to move and participate in sports.
These experiences have motivated me to guide others through their recovery process. I gain a lot of satisfaction from helping people return to their sport or daily activities after an injury. In addition, I also focus on preventing complaints, so that people can continue to move pain-free and with enjoyment.
My approach is personal and goal-oriented. Together, we look at your goals and work step by step towards a strong and lasting recovery.

A passion for sports and health is something I have always had. Combined with this, I am someone who gains a lot of fulfillment from helping others. The addition and connection that Physiotherapy provides to these interests is incredibly educational. During my internship at Fysiotherapie Leidse Baan, I saw how important it is for treatment to be tailored to the individual. This is something I carry with me in my guidance during sessions. This way, I can give patients the extra confidence they need when performing their exercises. Additionally, I bring a lot of enthusiasm and interest to my sessions.

I have a deep interest in sports and the challenges that come with it. I’ve also dealt with injuries myself, which has made me realize how frustrating it can be not being able to perform your sport at the desired level due to pain or limitations.
Through my physiotherapy studies, I have gained a better understanding of how injuries occur and how to deal with them. One of the things I’ve learned is the importance of staying active during an injury. This must be done in a responsible way to promote the recovery process and allow you to return to your sport at the desired level.
In my sessions, I will mainly focus on the correct execution of exercises. Additionally, I ensure there is plenty of enthusiasm and a fun atmosphere!

Sport plays an important role in my life. Through my experience with bouldering and Brazilian jiu-jitsu (BJJ), I know how good it feels to push your body to its limits—but also what happens when something goes wrong. Like most sports, bouldering and BJJ require mobility, strength, coordination, and technique, as well as the right mindset, sufficient rest, and recovery. Everything is connected.
My personal experience sparked my curiosity about the human body—how it works and how you can train functionally for specific goals. I also want to better understand how injuries occur, how to prevent them, and how I can help people return to what they love after an injury or a period of inactivity.
My physiotherapy education combines that scientific depth with human interaction—and that is exactly what I am looking for.
As a physiotherapist in training, together with the team at Woody’s, I would be happy to help you recover and come back stronger after an injury through simple but effective exercises tailored to your situation, which you can quickly perform independently. This also allows you to work on your recovery at home, return to your favorite sport, and prevent new injuries.
See you soon at Woody’s!
